What is ARC?

The ARC programme supports bursary awards to provide prospective and current pupils with the benefit of a fully immersive, independent Tormead education.
Message from the Head
“Help us to inspire the next generation of strong, confident and exceptional young women.”
David Boyd Head

Accessibility
Opening doors to pupils whose parents could not afford or would not ordinarily contemplate
an independent education.

Reassurance
Ensuring the continued education of our current students when families are facing hardship.

Commitment
To pupils and their families, ensuring access to a fully immersive education.

Supporting the ARC programme can be done in one of three different ways. You can become an ambassador, promoting and pursuing fundraising for the ARC fund. You can become a member and receive invitations to exclusive events as well as discounted rates at ARC events. Or, you can become a donor. Whether a one off or a regular gift, all donations will be graciously received and ring-fenced to support bursary awards.

The School’s generosity in allowing me to have a bursary enabled me to continue at Tormead during a period of financial insecurity and meant I could concentrate on my studies in advance of A levels
